Huimin Zhao, Male, Professor, Ph.D. (Postdoctoral), Leader of National Teaching Team, Discipline Leader of Guangdong Provincial Advantageous Key First-level Discipline "Control Science and Engineering", Senior Member of Chinese Institute of Electronics, Executive Director of Guangdong Computer Society, and Standing Director of Guangdong Society of Image and Graphics. Serves as Doctoral Supervisor for Signal and Information Processing at South China University of Technology and Guangzhou University, and Collaborative Doctoral Supervisor for Multimedia Information Processing at the University of Strathclyde, UK. Engaged in research and teaching of digital signal processing and information security technology. Over the past five years, it has presided over three NSFC General Programs, over 20 provincial key natural science foundation projects, and major special projects and published more than 80 research papers as first/corresponding author in high-quality journals, including 9 ESI top 1% highly cited papers in Computer Science, and authorized 25 invention patents. Presided over three technological achievement appraisals (2 internationally advanced, one domestically leading), and won the 2017 National Excellent Patent Award, 2022 Guangdong Science and Technology Second Prize, 2015 and 2018 Guangdong Science and Technology Third Prizes, and 2017 Foshan Science and Technology Progress Second Prize. Received 2019 Guangdong Teaching Achievement First Prize (Rank 3). Currently serves as a reviewer for international journals, including IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology, IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing, and Neurocomputing, as well as domestic journals such as the Chinese Journal of Electronics. Serves as project expert for NSFC Information Science Division and Guangdong Science and Technology Projects.
