Xu Lu, Ph.D., Professor, Doctoral Supervisor. Selected as Pearl River Scholar Distinguished Professor in 2024 and Young Pearl River Scholar in 2019. Currently serves as Dean of the Interdisciplinary Research Institute at Guangdong Polytechnic Normal University, formerly held positions as Deputy Director of the Research Office and Deputy Director of the Intelligent Robotics Research Institute. Recognized as a candidate for the "Thousand Hundred Ten Project" of Guangdong Higher Education Institutions. Has presided over more than 30 research projects, including National Natural Science Foundation General and Youth Programs, and participated in multiple national key R&D programs and Guangdong provincial key R&D plans. Published over 70 academic papers, including nearly 50 as first/corresponding author in SCI-indexed journals, with more than 20 in CAS Top Journals and 2 ESI Highly Cited Papers. Co-authored one Elsevier monograph. Applied for more than 40 invention patents (nearly 30 authorized), obtained seven utility model patents, and registered 17 software copyrights.
