On June 30th, the signing ceremony of the comprehensive strategic cooperation framework agreement between the school and Guangzhou Digital Technology Group was held at the library of the Baiyun campus of the school. Huang Yuezhen, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Guangzhou Digital Technology Group, and Li Yu, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager; Wang Bing, Secretary of the School Party Committee, Dai Qingyun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President, Du Anguo, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deng Wenxin and Cai Jun, Vice Presidents, as well as relevant department heads from both sides attended the ceremony and had discussions and exchanges.
Wang Bing warmly welcomed the arrival of the Guangzhou Digital Technology Group and systematically introduced the school's educational history, positioning, development status, and strategic layout from four aspects: "history, characteristics, speed, and ideals". Wang Bing stated that the school's disciplinary layout in fields such as big information and intelligent manufacturing is highly aligned with the business direction of Guangzhou Digital Technology Group. Huang Yuezhen expressed her gratitude for the warm reception from the school. He pointed out that Guangzhou Digital Technology Group started as a wireless decoration factory in 1956 and has now developed into a diversified industrial group with artificial intelligence and digital economy as its core. Under the wave of digital economy, the group is accelerating the layout of the "1+5+N" digital industry, as well as emerging fields such as low altitude economy and vehicle road cloud integration.
