In order to implement the spirit of the 9th National Conference on Supporting Xinjiang and continuously improve the practical benefits of our university's joint construction of ideological and political education and internship teaching bases for college students with Xinjiang's counterpart support areas (hereinafter referred to as campus campus joint construction) and the leadership plan of silver aged teachers, from June 10th to June 15th, Deng Wenxin, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of our university, and six other people went to Kashgar, Xinjiang to carry out mid-term inspections of the campus campus joint construction project and conduct research and inspections on education assistance to Xinjiang.
After arriving in Jiashi County, Kashgar Prefecture, Deng Wenxin and his delegation visited members of the sixth batch of our school's aid to Xinjiang teaching team, conducted on-site research on the education and teaching situation of the teaching team in the assisted schools, and gained a deep understanding of the implementation and difficulties of the teaching work. They also attended a symposium on the joint construction of Guangdong universities and Jiashi County schools hosted by the Education Bureau of Jiashi County, and had in-depth discussions with the Education Bureau of Jiashi County on further optimizing the teaching model and strengthening teaching management.
At Jiashi County Experimental High School, Deng Wenxin and his delegation had a discussion with the students of the training class organized by our school for the "Xinjiang Ordinary Higher Education Unemployed Graduates to Volunteer Provinces and Cities Training Program" to understand their employment situation after returning to Xinjiang. It is understood that all trainees in the training class have now grown into backbone forces in the education industry, public management, and social services in Kashgar region, leaving behind the footsteps of Guangshi University in promoting the construction and development of Kashgar region.
At the front command center of Guangdong Province's paired assistance to Xinjiang, Deng Wenxin and his delegation had in-depth discussions with the staff of the command center on the theme of "The Era Mission of Education Assistance to Xinjiang", and had full exchanges on solidly carrying out the "group style" education assistance to Xinjiang work measures, exchanging and collaborating to gather educational wisdom, and providing precise assistance.
At Kashgar University and Xinjiang Institute of Technology, Deng Wenxin and his delegation visited and comforted our university's silver teachers Zhang Jin, Yuan Xiangdong, and Han Laping, as well as young teacher Ou Tingting. They also had in-depth discussions with relevant department heads of Kashgar University on further strengthening cooperation and exchanges between the two universities, promoting mutual integration and cooperation in resource sharing, platform interconnection, mechanism construction, and doctoral program application, and promoting high-quality development of the two universities.
This research and investigation is an important measure for our university to implement the important instructions and directives of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech on Xinjiang work and comprehensively implement the Party's strategy for governing Xinjiang in the new era. Next, our school will continue to implement the work of education aid to Xinjiang steadily, closely focus on building an educational power, optimize educational talents to aid Xinjiang, strengthen vocational education assistance to Xinjiang, deepen university counterpart assistance to Xinjiang, and make educational contributions to Xinjiang's social stability and long-term stability, national unity and integration development, and Chinese path to modernization.
