In order to further create a harmonious campus atmosphere, promote national fitness, enhance the level of table tennis competition among faculty and staff, and promote cohesion among faculty and staff, on June 15th, our school held the 2025 mixed team table tennis competition for faculty and staff at the East Campus Comprehensive Hall. More than 350 athletes from 30 teams registered to participate. The school leaders attach great importance to it. Wang Bing, the secretary of the school party committee, and Dai Qingyun, the principal, personally came to the scene to cheer and encourage the contestants. Vice principals Xu Ling, Su Hui, and others participated in the competition.

In this competition, there are five individual events for each match, including men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, mixed doubles, and men's singles. The first stage is the group round robin competition to advance, the second stage is the draw to determine the knockout stage, and the playoff to determine the ranking. The athletes come and go, fight hard, and the field is filled with roars and applause. After fierce competition, the Association of Senior Education Workers and the Division of Labor of the School of Finance and Economics jointly won first place. The Division of Labor of Guangdong Industrial Training Center and the Division of Labor of the School of Computer Science respectively won second and third places. The Division of Labor of the School of Electronics and Information, the Division of Labor of the School of Automation, the Division of Labor of the School of Management, and the Division of Labor of the Party and the Masses jointly won fifth place. The Division of Labor of the School of Marxism, the Division of Labor of the School of Fine Arts, the Division of Labor of Heyuan Campus, and the Division of Labor of the School of Optoelectronics Engineering jointly.

The competition system has been slightly reformed based on actual conditions, and non table tennis professional faculty from the Sports College have been recruited to participate. In the second stage, a lottery positioning method will be adopted, which is more conducive to fair competition, so that each team can give their all to play every game and achieve the best results based on their strength. Through the competition, the goal of exercising the body, exchanging skills, communicating and promoting harmony has been achieved.
