On September 23, 2025, the School of Computer Science at Guangdong Polytechnic Normal University officially signed an academic exchange agreement with the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at the University of Naples "Federico II", Italy. The two institutions will engage in in-depth collaboration in talent cultivation and scientific research, with the agreement valid for five years from the date of signing.

According to the agreement, both parties will actively promote the exchange of faculty, researchers, and students (including undergraduates and graduate students), further broadening international learning and research opportunities. They will invite faculty and researchers from each other's institutions for short-term visits, participation in lectures, conferences, academic presentations, seminars, and other scholarly activities. Additionally, they will jointly advance collaborative research and educational projects while strengthening the exchange and sharing of academic information and publications in areas of mutual interest.

The signing of this academic exchange agreement not only provides a new platform for faculty and students to expand their international perspectives and enhance their research capabilities but also lays a solid foundation for promoting academic exchange and collaborative development between the two universities in China and Italy.
